Empire flippers case study
It was in the WordPress themes space. It was THE definition of a passive income site. I know several guys who have bought and sold sites through them. More on that later.

Empire Flippers Review - Are There Better Alternatives?
Update April I've now shut down the website described in this article, as it was not generating enough cashflow anymore to justify keeping it open. However, I am leaving it on my website as a reference for the whole process of selecting a website, purchasing it and growing the website's income after purchase. So, we heard about this whole niche site thing and had our staff start creating micro niche sites monetized with Adsense. We blogged about the whole journey and soon started selling the sites we made. Though we had a lot of success with this, not all of our sites turned into successes and we had our fair share of failure as well. Overall, we succeeded more than we failed and when we started selling the websites our team was making, we ran into something VERY interesting to us.
